- …We worship this cleaner. It certainly cleans great. In several hours it cleans our 16×32 inground pool. Pros: cleans swift, cleans good, simple to hook up, cleans the side and steps. Cons: We have a separate suction port and the skimmer has to be plugged in while using the atv for it to do it’s job. - …I ordered this Pool vacuum a month ago, so here is my conclusion. It is incredibly successful as far is cleaning skill goes, if it can reach it, it cleans it. My swimming pool was exceedingly filthy since the prior owner of this cottage had not taken care of the pool, it was green/brownish. As soon as the chemical cleaning was done, I put the Polaris ATV in to do it’s duty and it did it quite good. As I said, if it can reach it, it cleans it. It is also vastly trouble-free to install. Basically just plug the whole thing together and release it in your swimming pool. The Cons: For my pool the Polaris was not able to clean the side walls good enough, or didn’t adequatelly go to the side to clean it, they are still dirty. It has difficulty climbing my stairs. Often it’ll simply get trapped there. The wheels aren’t big enough and once it gets into a bad angle, it gets trapped as none of it’s wheels are reaching the bottom of the pool…
